The Guidelines

First, at the top right, you will see the submissions guidelines. Please follow those in order to get your work on the site quickly.

Second, you the photographer retain all copyrights to the work.

Third, at no time should you interfere with the safety of the work crews, yourself or others, nor at anytime should you break the law in order to make a photograph.

Fourth, Crude Evidence is not giving assignments nor asking photographers to photograph any certain subject matter, nor are we asking you to put yourself in harms way or to break the law.

Fifth, be smart, be safe. Please use common sense and follow all local and federal guidelines and laws.

The Idea

The idea is to have the people most affected by the Gulf Oil Disaster, the residents of Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida, show what is happening where they live without the censorship of BP or the US Government.
